My contractor charges $200 each time he collects well water and delivers it to a lab for testing in Georgia. Is this a reasonable fee? Since he is a certified well professional, I understand there may be added value, but I’m wondering whether this cost is on the high side.
Would it be acceptable to hire a general contractor for this instead, or to collect this myself and mail the sample directly to the lab at a lower cost? I’d appreciate any insight or suggestions.
