We buy the water meters for about $32 (you can find the company to buy the water meters on the MHU Resources page). You will want to install a shut off valve as well ($5 - $10), and a housing to go around the water meter to protect it from being stepped on or damaged (about $15). We have used maintenance guys to install in the past (about $30/each).
