I had let my new tenants know that in the future we would be sub metering the park in our new ownership letter. Does anyone have a sample letter they have sent to their tenants informing them that they are starting the process of sub metering? any help would be appreciated.thanks Luke Waugh
Contact your state MHA and get the exact wording of what that letter needs to look like. In some states, the initial letter about sub-metering has to contain certain language and disclaimers, and you don’t want to screw that up. It’s not at all like a rent increase letter, which has no required format.
