Survey -what to look for?

Hey guys ,what are the red flags you look for on a survey…
i usually get a simply boundry survey to keep costs low-thoughts?

Boundary surveys are a great start, if you have long property lines ask the surveyor to give you a couple interim stakes so that you can better eye things in the field. Easements and encroachments are very important too, but you will usually need an ALTA survey for that information. The podcast just did a really good job of discussing the importance of easement location.

Another thing to consider asking the surveyor to shoot is any visible utility equipment; manholes, cleanouts, water valves, electric transformers, etc. You can get a good idea of how the underground utilities in your park layout once you map these.
