Should i take a loss on selling a home just to rent the space

I own a small park and have recently installed a used mobile home in one of the empty spaces. I was hoping to actually make a small profit on the sale of the home but eventually took a loss to get it sold and begin collecting lot rent. I need to make a decision if I should install a new one in another empty space I have. With the economic times and difficulty obtaining financing, is it common in this market to take a loss on the initial sale of the home when filling an empty space? How have you other owners found the market? Will the rent I collect, over the life of the home, still make this a positive investment decision?
