Seasonality of park deals

Conventional wisdom says that most real estate deals happen in the spring and summer, much fewer in fall and winter. Does the same thing happen with parks? Are there certain times of year which are better for looking for parks than other times?

Yes. Mom and pop sellers are more motivated to sell in the winter in the northern states, and the summer in the southern states. It’s just human nature. You always are more motivated to sell when you are uncomfortable and there are problems and worries.

Thanks, Frank! There’s a good chance I’ll be putting in my time searching for parks in December and January, and I’m perfectly happy to go north.
