I want to say thanks to all of the people that protect our freedoms…
The police on the street, the people that serve in the armed forces, the people in dark rooms that crunch data…
I am reading to my son the events that lead to our civil war, and am reminded that preservation of our liberties and freedom was not a single event, but is an ongoing process.
You all risk your lives so I can drive my kids to school, take a hike, eat the food I choose, shop freely and prosper.
I am humbled to be in the shadow of your protection… in your hedge of protection…
