Anyone rehabbing pre-hud homes? We have quite a number of vacant pre-hud homes that we were planning on giving facelifts to., but ater going to the Louisville show, I not so sure. The availability of mid-level homes and creative financing for lower income families makes a strong case to go new.
We have demolished 19 old homes and plan to remove more. It really hurts the cash flow but it share looks a lot better. We bought two new Skyline homes and sold to good customers for cash. I don’t believ we could have gotten these sales with those old homes and rough tenants still in he park.
I’m now building my own hud homes in Ravenna OH to fill my parks and others.
