I’d like to get feedback on this topic. Our park currently has a no dogs allowed policy. This rule was in place with the original owner (over 10 yrs ago) – we understand there was an incident with a park resident and a neighbor’s dog.
We understand that there are liability issues with this and our insurance company has specific clauses against dogs. With that said, we turn down many potentially good residents because of this rule. Our number one concern of course is liability. As a down owner myself, I wonder what options other park owners have taken on. I have heard studies that suggest pet (esp dog) owners are often better residents (dont ask me for sources).
We’re looking at things like:

Extra pet fees per month
-
pet deposits
-
size and breed regualations
-
insurance waivers ( is that feasible)
