Paving before or after new homes arrive?

Im purchasing new homes and wanted to see if anyone has experience paving streets BEFORE homes arrive or after?
My concern is bringing in homes after paving might damage the asphalt . My last home wont arrive until late October and wonder if i can get the park paved when it gets colder. Ohio region.

If that is your concern then there is no harm in paving before the home arrives.

I only wait to pave if I’m bringing major construction equipment in for projects. Moving homes typically has little to no impact on a quality road surface.

This depends on the equipment that the install crew is using, as well as how many homes you plan to bring in. I have brought about thirty homes into my park in the last 16 months and the roads have taken a light beating. The manufacturer drops the homes off on wheels and that does no real damage, but the install crew often uses a translift (a machine on a metal tank-like track) to put them into place. For tight lots, where the translift makes significant turns, this will damage the roads. It might be best to patch the holes now and plan to do the major roadwork later, so long as you can effectively market/sell the homes with the inferior road condition.

Its has no affect at all. I just paved the roads at one of my parks and brought in 6 new homes. No damage to the roads.

If you have a seal coat or asphalt you definitely can damage it in the summer heat. The less turning the better as a pivoting axle will affect the road surface, been there. Most movers have one goal, drop it on the lot as quick as possible.
