How much would base price of a new singlewide 3 bed 2 bath be around?
Is it still worth to bring in a new trailer instead of a used one to fill vacant lot ?
We are located in Northwest Missouri ( North of Kansas City)and did some research very recently. We were looking into the 21st mortgage program. After lots of research, we determined that the payment on a 16x80 plus lot rent would not work in our area. A new 16x80 mobile home was hitting at about 85,000. It just depends on your location if it could work. A decent three-bedroom two-bath house here will rent for about $1,300 a month and it was too hard to compete with that in this area. A stick-built house starter home here could be purchased for around $200,000. Just too hard to convince someone to make a payment on a mobile home and pay lot rent. Our lot rent is $365 per month with no utilities included.
