First of all, thank you for all the useful information provided by you guys. Im planning on building a new mobile park in sacramento, ca. Has anyone build a MHP from ground up? my CONCERN is the initial process. I hear, its almost impossible to get the city to approve new construction of MH parks. any thoughts. say something…

My situation: i have a land approved for 24 lots(R3 zoned). there is already 3 standing houses in the front of the property and bare land in the back.

Finance, constructions, plumbing, etc are not my concerns. I just need to know how to get the city to say, “yes”.

Your message to the City should focus on what it means for the tenants and affordable housing, non-subsidized. Don’t focus on what it means for you.

Were you able to build your park? How did it go? Any advice for someone that is thinking about it?
