I would like to confirm what one of the agent told me is correct. The listing agent for a property that I am interested in told me that with Marcus & Millichap, I have to hire him as buyer agent and he will act as intermedia. Is that true? I have never worked with this agent and would like to ensure that I receive the correct information. I was hoping that by not having a buyer agent, I can ask for more discount from seller. Thanks.
You do not have to get a buyers agent just write a purchase contract that gives you your 30 days DD. You can offer anything you like, the question is; Is the seller motivated to sale? Can you complete the sale? (Get to Closing) Do you have funds for down payment and working capital? Do you have experience? As always questions, questions, questions?
