Has anyone used legal zoom for their lease agreements? Or should I pursue an attorney? I do have a copy of F&D’s lease but need to make sure it will work in my state. Thanks!
Get copies from your local manufactured housing association. Each state should have one. They typically provide all of the forms with state specific legal built-in for a couple hundred bucks. Don’t go near the legal zoom forms.
Or you could go apply as a resident at a reputable park in your market and “borrow” their lease and rules. You might even be able to pull one up online and save yourself the hassle of actually applying. I would shoot for a large, sophisticated operator. My junk gmail inbox is full of leases I’ve acquired while comping parks.
