Hi Matt,

Can you email the specs and a list of parks who use the products?

Any pics of your Solar slights by chance?

What is your email address?
Please email me at matt@gamasonic.com and I’ll be happy to email you all information you requested.

Sorry for the delay.

Here are the lights we used. We just retro fit the old light system with the LED lights.

You guys find the light sufficient? Spacing between the poles?

No complaints from the residents.

The light locations were approved when the park was built. There are one or two lights on each row of homes.

What is your state and how did you pick this specific model. Trying to see what model will work for us.

We are in CA.
This model suited our needs.

Thoughts on using the Solar in Ohio? What was your approx cost per light?

Solar in Ohio will be a bit different than Solar in San Diego. We have lost more sun, and our nights are shorter in the winter.

I don’t remember the cost per light, but I did an Amazon search for solar lights.

These are $120.00, which seems inexpensive. You may just want to order one and see how it works out. That’s a pretty cheap experiment to see if they work out or not

I ordered a light of 6000 lumens from Greentek. The cost of $395 is a bit high, but I’m
Hopeful it will avoid running new wires. I’ll copy the thread updated with pics and reviews.

How high are your poles off the ground? Did the source the poles locally and cement them in one piece into the ground ?

I did not measure them, but I estimate 15-20’

Some poles were from the legacy lighting system, and some were new. I suggest Schedule 40 Galvanized Poles 3" or larger.

You can use a Quick Tube to concrete them. It would be best to dig a footer at least 2’x2’x2’ so the pole doesn’t fall over. If you have frost in your area, you should check with your local building inspector for the proper depth and size of a footer. You may need a permit.
