I just bought my 2nd park in April this year; it’s a small 11 unit near Wichita KS. I currently own all the trailers since I bought it that way and want to sell them to occupants, or set newer homes and rent them for awhile. I asked my insurance man how I could protect myself in the event of a catastrophic event such as a tornado since they are pretty common around here; he said there wasn’t. If a tornado wiped out the park I’d still have a mortgage…but no income since the trailers would have all blown away. Does anyone know what options may be available to cover my "ass"ets?
