Setting a new home in a HUD state, what sort of price differences are you seeing for helical piles vs traditional excavation and concrete? What else needs to be done when using the helical piles — gravel and vapor barrier under the rest of the home? I’m getting tired of bringing in newer used homes to avoid these rules and am going to start biting the bullet.
