One of my tenants passed away last year. The estate is in the hands of the Probate Court and for a number of reasons it appears that the estate my not be settled for some time.
I’ve been told that landlords are way down on the list of creditors and it is highly likey that I will see only a very small fraction of the lot rented owed me.
The Estate is not activley looking for a buyer and the MH is just sitting in my park.
I would like to acquire this MH ,clean it up and sell it . What’s the best way to get title to this home?
Is eviction an option? Is there any way to force a sale while the MH is still tied up in Probate? My park is in Ohio.
Help with this one would be greatly appreciated.
