I’m hoping someone can help me identify this mobile home make and model as it is required for insurance!
Check with the town (or owner!) they’ll have a bill of sale recorded with that information. Hard to tell from one pic but looks like a round roof late1960s to mid-70s model
Check with your County Treas. If they collect taxes on it they’ll have basic info likely. Or an old Report where it once was.
We recently located such info from the cabinet under the kitchen sink. I-beam underneath the home is another place we usually looked for such info. In certain states, you may need to have sheriff to sign off the paper in case the tag is lost. Hope it helps
Thanks for all the feedback! I was able to get enough information to get her insured!
Curious, is American modern a good insurance company? Slim pickings for mobile homes…
American modern and foremost are going to be your two options basically. Happy to help with a reference for the park and homes too (I think I remember you’re in Maine right?)
Correct, the park is in Maine!
I ended up paying $3,550 for 5 mobile homes and 1 ranch home.
The ranch home was insured as FRC (functional replacement cost) but they would only insure as ACV (actual cash value) on the 5 mobile homes.
I don’t know much about insurance so I did the best with what I do know. Is ACV common on Mobile homes?
