Gas or all electric on new homes to sell in park?

I have a lot of hatred for old gas appliances heaters and stoves. However when bringing in new homes to sell should I buy them all electric or include gas as it is cheaper a bit. The extra meter fees and better insulation seems to have shrunk that advantage.

What are you all doing for new mobile homes?

Where you’re located will make a big difference. In our New England parks the new homes still mostly have gas/propane for furnace, stove, and dryer

In northern states, all electric is very expensive to operate. We only use gas furnaces in Northern Indiana. We have had some customers buy their own elect furnaces and I hear stories of $600+ monthly bills and cold homes when it gets very cold out. Gas bills would be closer to half that amount each month.

I’m in OK so it does get cold in the winter but not anywhere close to new england or Indiana.

We are in Northwest Missouri. Gas still makes the most sense but our consumer does not want it. We have actually removed all gas lines from half of our Park so we don’t even have to worry about them.

We may run some all electric test homes in Northern Indiana. My guess is that the $600 electric bill is only for 1 or 2 months, but new homes with good insulation may not even be that high.
