it basically assists in keeping people off of welfare. They will give a family up to $1,500 for something important - a down payment on a house qualifies. We are trying to get better paying people in at this point, but at the beginning when we had a turn around, we used it.
We offer the information, they pop down to the assistance office, we fill out a form, fax it back and the money comes directly to us. We had one lady apply, we got the money, she never paid the next month, so we went out there to see what was up - she never moved in and wouldn’t return our calls.
wow - money and no people - sounds as good as self storage.
