The CDC has extended the eviction moratorium till July. Are you aware of, or have made use of any relief programs for those of us who are adversely effected by this?
We have used the rental assistance programs extensively in multiple states and have received substantial funding from them. For anybody past due, we prepared packages to send by mail and hand deliver with application instructions and brochures. We also designated a contact in the office to assist with applications. Most tenants have applied and received funding. A few refused which will eventually cause their eviction.
In a few cases, tenants abandoned their home, but in hindsight we wished they stayed and applied.
