Do you know anyone who owns a MHP in an Opportunity Zone

Hello, Do you own a MHP in an Opportunity Zone? Do you know anyone who does? Did you start your Opportunity Zone Fund? Do you do any special bookkeeping or accounting for the OZF? Do you have a special lawyer you use? I’m looking for some guidance specifically around accounting for an OZF. I really appreciate anyone with knowledge about this.

We own one. We do not have an opportunity zone fund. Not sure where you are going with this, but what are your thoughts? What special lawyer is needed and why? What type of accounting is needed? Perhaps I am missing something, but we didn’t do anything special for the property in the opportunity zone.

Contact a few real estate attorneys who focus their practice on RE development, they’ll be familiar with Opp Zones. Ask them for a CPA referral based on that CPA’s prior experience working with clients who operate/develop within Opp Zones. This will give you direction and after speaking to 2-3, you’ll know who was most helpful and who you would like to work with.
