My accountant is saying that we need to depreciate the mobile homes purchased over a 27.5 year depreciation schedule even though MH’s are not as well built or last as long as a stick built home. What is everybody else using for a depreciation schedule? If less than 27.5 years, how do you justify if an audit were to occur?
