Utterly random question here but as larger TOH parks are harder and harder to find and acquire there ‘seems’ to be an inordinate number of parks for sale in Indiana and Illinois. Am I seeing this correctly and if so what’s up in those two states. Random curiosity and it is ok to tell me I am wrong or senile.
I’ve noticed the same trend, many of those parks are older and owned by long-time operators who are starting to retire, so there’s more turnover hitting the market. Indiana and Illinois also have a lot of smaller “mom-and-pop” parks, and factors like local regulations or reinvestment costs can make selling a more practical option.
