I want to purchase a MHP in Florida and move there next year. From looking at the listings, I see a lot of parks for sale there compared to other states, what gives? I understand there are a lot of snow birds that move there over the winter, which would justify so many parks, but I have to think maybe Florida is not such a great place to purchase a park.
Is it competition from the condos and excess homes? Better investment at this time to purchase a house rather than a MH.
Tax laws?

I don’t know. Really want to move to the Gulf Coast between March and July of 2011.
As investors which state would you prefer, Alabama, Florida, Texas, Mississippi?
