I am about ready to put my first park under contract and had a quick question on the MHPS contract I received as a bonus when buying some material from the site.
Is this similar to the forms others use on the forum? The reason I ask is I am going to have my attorney review it to make sure it’s appropriate for my state (MA), and if others have comments or improvements they’ve already made, I’d hate to relearn the same lessons.
Also, in the contract there is a section that states that states
" PURCHASER warrants that it is a limited liability company duly organized, validly existing, and in good standing under the laws of the State of ____________________;" .
I spoke with my attorney and he said I don’t need to incorporate before the contract, only before the closing so that title go’s right to the LLC. If this is consistent with others experience, I assume I can strike that condition from the contract.
Man, things are getting exciting but I’m really looking forward to a rewarding experience.
