Has anyone tried using a chemical root killer on clay tile sewer lines in a park?
My park has quite a few trees, and we have to snake a main line every other month or so, which seems pretty standard.
I figure the combination of snaking the lines and having tree roots force their way through cracks can’t be good for the relatively brittle clay lines though. If a chemical root killer or other treatment could be effective I wonder if it could extend the life of the lines.
