Cameras and security features

Do you have any recommendations for camera systems suitable for a mobile home park? There have been a few recent incidents, and we’re looking for ways to better capture video and images. Thank you.

Seems like there are a plethora of options for equipment. Sam’s, Costco.. for more encompassing Internet based options Ring is simple and accessible. The bigger questions are Hardwire or WiFi? Shared images or private? Ring for example uses wifi and power with some solar options. Do you have wifi and power where you are placing the cameras? Also ring share your camera data with many. Police in CO maybe able to access your cameras in IL without your consent via ring or possibly your ISP. Recently shown that even if the camaras are allegedly “off” they may still be recording. Other equipment providers can keep it all private but then you’re talking about storage, backup…. Maybe hardwire and power. We will use ring in our communities, as the vast majority of tenants are going to ring or similar doorbell / security cams so the views are shared either way. For nonpublic neighborhoods where we can restrict what clients use there are more private option like Ubiquiti. They are more expensive and require your own storage and backup. They are also not as simple and may require skilled it tech assistance …

These are what we installed. Solar works great. 6 dats of clouds, rain and snow and they are still almost fully charged. Good picture quality. Decent app for viewing. Great price.
