Buying Wastewater Treatment Plants

We are looking for wastewater treatment plants and water systems to purchase. TrueStream was born out of frustration of seeing my park passed over by potential buyers because of its private utility systems. It became apparent to me that buyers prefer these utilities to be operated by reputable 3rd parties. After successfully selling my park once I spun out the utilities, I created TrueStream Environmental to help other park owners unlock value.

We are currently acquiring water and sewer systems in parks greater than 100 pads. We can purchase utility systems outright, helping park owners unlock value and lower cap rates by having the systems be operated by a reputable 3rd party. Additionally, we operate utility systems handling compliance and regulatory requirements. We can also be an added benefit to your sales process by purchasing utilities at the time of sale, which can help buyers lower their equity and get more aggressive on price. Please DM if you would like to connect.

Please post a link to your website, for future reference. Also, I found a TrueStream Fiber online. Are you associated with them? Are you nationwide, or only in certain areas?

We are currently in Louisiana and Texas but looking to expand. Please shoot me a note at myles@adventure-capital-partners.com and I can provide more info

Why anyone would sell the life blood of their property to a 3rd party company who can charge whatever they like and literally hold the park hostage, dumbfounds me.

I get where you’re coming from, but that is exactly why contracts exist. When a system is sold or transferred, the operating and rate terms are governed by a service agreement and often regulated by the state’s public utility commission. The owner can lock in long-term pricing, service standards, and buyback provisions to prevent being “held hostage.”

The tradeoff is capital relief, professional management, and compliance responsibility shifting to an operator who specializes in wastewater systems. It’s not about giving up control, it’s about structuring the contract intelligently.
