I contacted an ad on Craigslist about a park that was off market in Dallas area.
"Sophia” was not willing to tell me anything about the park unless I signed the NDF. She was so concerned about me having enough funds and wanted my bank to verify funds without making a deal. They also had a 3% fee attached to the asking price.
I did sign the NDF and they sent me the information about the park. Of course I did not give them any of my bank information.
The park was not what we were looking for. Matter of fact, I have seen this park listed on Mobile Home Park Store.
I emailed Sophia what we were looking for. The next day, she emailed me stating she has another off market park for sale and asked if I was interested. I asked that we talk on the phone and she said she couldn’t give details about the park over the phone. I asked that we just talk and if she could not do that, take me off her list.
I believe it is a scam.
Just wanted to inform others who are looking on Craigslist to beware!
