Allowing tenants to use fires for heat

I own a few small parks and several of my tenants are wanting to install wood burners, corn burners, and the like in their homes to heat.

I am worried that the tenants could catch their home on fire and someone gets hurt. This could also effect their neighbors if fire spread.

Any park owners out there ever deal with this?

Is it even legal for me to tell them they can’t heat their home as they wish?

I would like to tell them they can only heat with gas or electric furnaces or a “factory installed” fireplace.

Thanks for any help!

@mobilehomepark What did you decide to do on this issue? I’m having a similar issue at one of our parks.

We only have factory built fireplaces now. Out of over 100 homes, only one has a fireplace that is factory built. We put a stop to the guy we had that put his own wood burner in his home.
