I keep hearing the advice to have tenants mail in their rent to a PO box.
I don’t own a MHP yet but I do have 3 rental houses. I make my tenants drive to my bank and deposit directly into my bank account. I can log in online and see exactly which day they deposited it on. Actually I do give an address they can mail to, but they always wait until the last minute and drive it to the bank. My bank charges me nothing for this and I assume other banks would be agreeable as well.
Wouldn’t this be easier than trying to keep track of dozens of checks and the occasional lost mail excuse?
