2 tenants under the guise of a Hispanic non-profit distributed letter around property referring to “water and sewer issues” which are categorically false. Property is serviced with city w/s. Debating best course of action here. About half of the park is Hispanic and the letter that was distributed refers to a “Residents Association” and a meeting to take place that they claim to have formed to “pursue improvement strategies” and makes no reference of the non-profit that’s behind it. I’m waiting to hear back from the head city administrator given this is largely their issue given mention of w/s but am a bit angered by this letter. Am debating hiring an attorney to threaten to sue the non-profit. Any suggestions here? They are intentionally spreading falsehoods and creating fear in the community. This has all 100% come as a result of all of the uncertainty attributed to the new Trump policies. It’s a fairly large property which many Hispanic families.
