We are currently seeking a talented Property Management professional who would have an interest in serving in a managerial role as Director of Operations coordinating and managing our portfolio of properties. Given the importance of the role, any potential candidate would start part-time, and based on performance on the job, would transition into a full-time hire. Role Responsibilities
- Oversee local third party property managers and leasing agents to ensure strong collections and prompt management of evictions
- Site Inspections – Conduct monthly/bi-monthly site inspections and create formal reports for the community and for corporate
- Manage and maintain operating budget for the property
- Monthly review of operating statements to ensure revenue and expenses are in-line with historical
- Negotiate with vendors, home dealers and coordinate with prospective homeowners
- Create best-practices for each property to ensure good records management and management practices
- Manage and maintain standardized online records and property-level reporting
- Supervise, coach and develop team members
- Perform On-Site Inspections of properties on a monthly or quarterly basis
- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly calls of each property with on-site management
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of multi-family or 3 years mobile home / manufactured housing property management experience
- Fluent in Microsoft word, excel, and Microsoft office suite of products
- Sharp attention to detail
- Impeccable organizational skills and a strong understanding of online file records management (Dropbox or similar online repository)
- Experience in using online marketing (Facebook marketplace, Craigslist etc.) to support lease up of mobile homes
- Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment supported by a drive to deliver promptly on deadlines
- Working experience using rent manager platform is a plus
- Completed a 4-year degree at a university
