RV Eviction in Texas

Hi All,

I have a long term RV lot renter in my mobile home park who I gave a 30 day notice to vacate in order to fill the lot with a mobile home. He was supposed to be out by May 1st, but is still there and the home has arrived and is ready to install. Does anyone have experience with how this works in Texas? Can I just tow this guy’s RV to an impound lot? or have to go through the formal eviction process. Thanks for your input.

I have been a single family landlord for 20 years in ND, I would never just do what you think is easiest or best, or what you think is common sense without first contacting an attorney.

You could well find yourself with more issues than you bargained for.

You will most likely need to evict them if they have been in the spot over 30 days. And I would hire an attorney to do that.

If you are not familiar with the TX eviction process get a lawyer. Then start reading the landlord tenant laws for the state.
