Personally addressed lead letters more effective?

I would like input on personalizing lead letters. Do you search out owners names and personalize the address and the letter? This is taking me much more time but I feel it should give a better response rate. What are you all doing?

I personalize. You’re right, it takes longer, but I think it’s very effective. I am getting ~8% response rate every mailing. Most of the time it’s “thanks for reaching out, I’m not ready to sell yet but I will be soon. Let’s keep in touch.” Sometimes it’s “ready to sell, lets talk.”

Agreed with @JohnnyAloha. I personalize as well. Some title searching tools will give you the owner name and address in a nice table format (I use LandVision which does this). This makes it easy to do a mail merge and include the individual owners’ names in the letters.

@keithme I have not used LandVision but use Parlay overlay with google maps. Does not provide information in table format but maps are up to date.
