Hi-It’s my first month as a park owner and it’s been interesting! One of the owners moved and left their trailer. I contacted her and she indicated they were making plans for the trailer that had been sitting empty since December. She was surprised to learn that she would now be charged lot rent. It was quite a hassle getting the rent and I offered to buy the old trailer for 50 dollars just to get it off her hands. She was considering her options as April was looming. Crazing timing, but her trailer burnt down yesterday. Luckily she has insurance. So my question, have others experienced this means of an owner getting out from under a trailer? I hope this us uncommon. And next, besides the clean up of her lot and the adjacent lot and possible damages to my utility hookups, should I request anything else from her insurance company? Any input would be so helpful! Thanks!!
