Hi, everyone, and thanks for putting up with great variety of inane questions:-). Now I have another one for all of you:
This is the scenario at a couple of places and I am interested in any opinions.
1 septic tank for every 2 homes.
Solids settle to bottom of the tank and liquids flow to a lift station.
Solids are pumped out at least every 3 years.
Liquids are pumped to a single-stage lagoon with an overflow pipe. Area is fenced and willows and other trees are starting to grow around it.
All the construction is less than 3 years old.
This is what the state, Kentucky, actually wants.
Does anyone have a system like this and what has been your experience with it? Does anyone else have any horror stories they would like to share?
