Infrared Heat Asphalt Repair

Does anyone have some feedback regarding the method of using an Infrared Heater to repair asphalt ? Particularly interested to hear from someone who has seen results years later and how it held up. For anyone not aware of the repair method here is a link that goes through the process:

My understanding is this does not hold up. Reheating asphalt is not good.

I’ve been doing some research on asphalt maintenance too

According to this resource it lasts 5-12 years if your road base is good:
