Employment for Elderly Residents

I have a few older residents in my park who are generally able to work (at least non-physical jobs), and are in need of some supplemental income. They’ve asked me for help. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can help these folks find work a day a week or so? Are there any elder-employment agencies or websites that specialize in employment for older folks?

I have some old guys that drive cars for local auto dealers (dealer trades)

Are you near an airport? Many of the airports I fly through have older people working as guides.

What about the local schools? As a former teacher I can tell you that schools at all grade levels are looking for volunteer tutors. Ditto for libraries.

Crosswalk attendants? They only work just a couple of hours a day.

If you are near an regional, or larger airport, many seniors find work driving cars for car rental agencies, like Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, Budget, etc… the hours are usually part time, & flexible. The pay is usually around minimum wage.
