Buying a community amidst evictions


I’m looking at purchasing a community that is currently going through two evictions. 1 in an apartment and 1 in a TOH. Actually the one in the TOH hasn’t even been served yet, I believe they will be today or tomorrow. This is a community I currently manage.

Has anyone purchased a community that was midway through an eviction? If so, how was it?

I have not however you should check with your state landlord tenant regulations in the event the evictions are not completed when you become the owner. In most cases the sale of a property will terminate the eviction and the new owner will need to begin again.
Cover your bases and insure evictions are finalised before you close the deal.
