some property management companies have m.h.p. owners on a DO NOT NEED TO KNOW basis. For example residents in one california m.h.p. wrote letters to the mgmnt co. regarding the unethical and illegal behavior of the on-site mngr. When the p.m.c. responded with “you must be mistaken” and “i don’t think she would do anything like that”, and simply disregarded their complaints, the residents attempted to contact the owner however, the ONLY contact info for him was via the management company. Even though the correspondance was addressed specifically to the owner , he has yet to be informed of the situation with his on-site mgr. meanwhile his property value goes down due to unhappy residents.
