We have a tenant that got a restraining order against two other tenants that live next door to him. The order expires on June 20th but sounds like this tenant will seek to renew and extend the order. This is a difficult situation because the other tenants are almost always within 20 feet of this tenant’s home and could be in violation.
We’ve not had a problem with these people before, but just in the past two weeks they have called the police multiple times and have now gone to the extend of getting restraining orders.
I’m not sure how to handle this situation. I’ve talked with the local police about all of it, but is there other action that I need to take? Or just let things play out and see what the fall out may be?
