I’m wondering if anyone has any experience in having a trailer sold at a tax sale. I’ve had this unit abandoned in my park for a while now, and I’ve been notified that the rights to sell it to cover the taxes have been sold to an agency, who will auction it off in a few weeks. While I’ve basically given up on the home, I would like to at least demand that the new owner (unless it’s me, which I doubt it will be), pay the back lot rent and fees, especially if they plan to move it. While I don’t know if that’s legal, it certainly would give me some satisfaction to at least try. My park is located in southern Illinois. Thanks for your input.
