We had a massive leak this year and requested abatement from the town. Town is denying it because we had an abatement years ago. I understand a 7 year rule or something but this was many years ago. Any suggestions on ways to approach this?
Attend a board meeting hat in hand. You might argue that since you had leak which I take it you mean a water leak, they did not have to process sewage so could they at least cut the bill in half
