I have a MHP in GA and I have an individual that has contacted my park greeter about a sewage stop up outside of there mobile home. It isn’t a parked own home and I am not fully sure if it is a problem with the main line. Is this something common and whose responsibility is it to get the problem fixed?
It is your responsibility. Anything in/below ground is on you. We pay for all repairs of water lines up to and including the ball valve. Sewage stop ups affect more than just that one tenant. So you need to unstop it (probably a job for Roter Rooter). That said, if you discover grease or towels or junk down there, you need to send a notice to your residents to stop putting that into the sewage.-jl-
