I currently own a mobile home park in Oklahoma, but live in Colorado. I plan on buying additional parks throughout the midwest in the next few years. I am wondering if it is worth while to get my real estate license and wonder what the pros and cons would be as a real estate investor.
I got rid of my licence when I started buying parks. I did not want the added disclosures of- I am an agent and you should have one too, or not being able to write contracts other than pre printed ones… I was a Broker- but… Broker oversight would have driven me up the wall…
And- I also happen to be from Colorado…

you don’t need a license to buy or sell your own property in my state (yours maybe as well).
I would stay far away from it - for the same reasons Jim points out.
