I am totaly new member of this site, after reading some of the post, it seems like everyone are family members. I feels very happy.
I have a real issue that give me sleepness night.
I have bought aMobile Home park NY upstate, close to Binghamton. In the State of NY, the way the assesment for a MHP is beside the the land and the improvement are taxed to the owner, but also the mobile home which are not owned by the land owner.
Can someone out there can tell me what to do, because I got hit about $30,000 a year of property tax, and only with a gross income of about $60,000. My property is assess for $800,000 but I believe it is overaly value.
