Mobile on land separation

I have a mobile home on land. About 2 years ago the mobil was separate from the land for tax purposes but was joined to the land by the county in their records and is now considered all real property (and taxed accordingly). The mobile itself is old (1968) and in need of major work. I feel that the amount of work may be more than it is worth. Any ideas on how to separate the mobil from the land again so I can either sell it to a handyman and rent the land or dispose of it and get another one (newer) on it? It is located in an area where there are many restrictions (Key Largo, Fl.-in the Keys). I own this free and clear at this time. The land is private land-not in a mobile home park. Is it just a simple thing of forms filled out at the assessor’s office?
